So this commission is nearly finished. I did the really scary part tonight, putting the black paint on!! The first bit of pink onto a blank canvas was scary but the black was worse, one slip of the hand and it could all be ruined!! Well, here are the final two designs for my latest project, which will be painted onto a 50x50cm canvas. The brief was a design to incorporate pink, black and white, with samples of wallpaper and bedding as inspiration. I got together about 5 designs and these are the final two. I'll find out next week which is the winner and then it's time to get out my paints and begin.... yey!!
